"Back in the day" we used to do a lot of architectural additions and remodeling.  The most satisfying part of this work was transforming the ugly ducklings.  A little imagination and some quality work and anything can be transformed.  Vidana Construction is now  predominately a custom home builder and we will only perform home remodels as secondary jobs.  We highly recommend that anyone that intends to be involved in an "Owner Occupied" remodel project that you weigh all the options including renting another home for the duration of the

remodeling.  This may seem like a drastic suggestion.  However after having done them for twenty years, we can say with some authority that living in a construction zone is not fun.  In fact the closest thing to it is probably a war zone… think about it.
